The house of GUOCIO

Illuminating interesting, loving and tasteful living.

Founded in 2018 by Jack Huang, GUOCIO (古希奥) designs lighting around a single idea — illuminating interesting, loving and tasteful living for families. Each piece is conceived across what the studio calls the three realms of lighting — technology, aesthetics and philosophy. The result is a warm, considered, distinctly Oriental-modern language that sits naturally alongside fine carpentry and Italian furniture.

Three realms of light

Technology

Warm 3000K light at CRI > 90, integrated and G9 LED sources, stepless and touch dimming, and magnetic-rail systems — engineered to render materials and skin tones faithfully.

Aesthetics

Brass, steel, copper, wood and glass, shaped into sculptural forms. Fixtures are designed to be beautiful lit or unlit — objects in their own right, not just sources of light.

Philosophy

Light as atmosphere and meaning. Every series is composed to shape how a space feels through the day — interesting, warm and tasteful, never merely bright.

GUOCIO sets the scene; Aqara conducts it. We pair every installation with an Aqara control layer so the lighting dims, warms and shifts through the day on its own. Presence sensors bring rooms to life as you arrive, a single scene takes a space from work to dinner to rest, and the same system folds in shading, climate, security and access.
